Cairo Airport Cargo Company - CACC is an Egyptian shareholding company founded in 1991. The development of air cargo industry has prompted CACC to set more focus on cargo handling activities and become a General Handling Agent providing premium services to prominent airlines such as Lufthansa Cargo AG, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, Austrian Airlines, Aegean Airlines, Oman Air, British Airways, Saudia Cargo, as well as various charter companies.
Located 500 meters away from the ramp side, CACC has started as the first off-airport terminal within Cairo International Airport with a dedicated apron gate exclusively serving the carriers handled by CACC.

Ski Egypt’s Penguins – Feb 26th, 2018
On Monday Feb 26th, A team of CACC qualified staff handled the first batch of penguins to set foot in Cairo.
Following their arrival from Japan on board LH8290, the 10 penguins were immediately loaded to our new custom-designed cool dollies and kept at Zero degree Celsius.
By the time the shipment was released, it was immediately transferred into cool trucks to reach its destination to Ski Egypt at The Mall of Egypt.

King Tutankhamun Collection – Feb 19th, 2018
We are glad to announce that CACC’s Export Terminal was selected to handle the 166 artefacts from King Tutankhamun’s tomb which were sent from Egypt for a 10-city exhibition tour, to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of discovering the tomb of the Boy King.
On Monday Feb 19th, CACC has successfully handled The King TUT precious collection that was charter shipped to LA to reach its first destination at the California Science Center.
The King TUT collection includes items the king himself used in life and afterlife , including: golden jewellery elaborate carvings, sculptures & ritual antiques.

We are glad to announce that The International Air Transport Association (IATA) awarded Cairo Airport Cargo Company - CACC the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) Registration, following the successful completion of a comprehensive audit of ground-handling operations.
ISAGO is an audit program for ground-handling companies serving airlines at airports.
ISAGO registration is IATA program that is modelled after the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA), which assesses Ground service provider operational management and control systems. ISAGO is built around a set of harmonized internationally recognized standards and accepted system for assessing the operational management and control systems of the Ground Service Provider.
IATA's decision to award CACC registration came after a comprehensive audit carried out by an IATA-licensed ISAGO audit team that performed a headquarters audit which focuses on the Organization & Management System and ensures that the ground handling functions are performed in conformity with latest industry operational practices.

We are glad to announce that CACC has successfully achieved the “Envirotainer Ground Services Award”.
Following the successful completion of the CEIV Pharma Certificate, CACC continues to invest in developing its people to guarantee proper handling of temperature-sensitive products. Accordingly, 47 of CACC Staff have been trained and assessed capable of handling life science products professionally and efficiently.
CACC is now the first Cargo services provider in Egypt and Africa to achieve Envirotainer Ground Services Award.

In this respect, we are glad to announce that Cargolux consignments are currently being handled at CACC terminal as of today – 9th of Jan, 2018 – following the signing of a multi-year Cargo Handling Agreement with Cargolux in Cairo.
Cargolux operates a weekly 747 freighter to Cairo

CACC is proud to announce that it has conducted the “Dangerous Goods Awareness” Training to it’s very special and distinctive customer Coca-Cola Atlantic (Cairo Concentrate Plant) which took place at the customer’s premises in Nasr City Free Zone.
For one full day, CACC’s training instructor Mr. Mohamed Hassanain (Quality & Process Manager) has conducted the training to all Coca-Cola logistics team and certificates had been handed over to all attendees at the end of the day.
With much of honor, CACC has received from Coca-Cola management team a letter of appreciation thanking CACC for the very beneficial and informative training, as well as the outstanding service provided by CACC throughout the whole handling and consulting business.

Today we are thrilled to announce that CACC Cargo Facilities are the first in Africa and the second in the Middle East to be awarded the CEIV Pharma certificate by IATA as of 31st of October, 2017.
With much honour, The IATA representative in Egypt, Mr. Mohamed Lotfy – Area Manager - has handed over the certificates to CACC’s Managing Director Mr. Mahmud Ibrahim in presence of CACC’s management team.
In the past few years, the pharmaceuticals supply chain has become one of the most complex supply chains in the world, especially for temperature-dependent pharmaceutical products that require advanced temperature-controlled storage as well as, delicate handling.
In order to meet the global market requirements and standards, CACC has been able to transform its temperature-controlled terminals to reliable storage & handling facilities for pharmaceuticals & healthcare products which were the first to be certified in Africa by IATA - Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics CEIV Pharma.

Following a seven-year ban on EU imports of Egyptian Arabian horses, this week on August 7th, Cairo International Airport has witnessed the handling of the first 8 live Egyptian horses’ consignment flying to Frankfurt on LH8291.
We are honoured to announce that this unique consignment was successfully handled at CACC new cargo terminal by the IATA certified CACC Live Animals Team.
Upon their arrival to CACC export terminal 3 hours prior to flight departure, these unique beauties were delicately checked and carefully loaded into 3 horse containers/stalls to ensure maximum safety and comfort throughout the whole flight.
To guarantee safety on airside and proper loading into aircraft, the consignment was escorted by CACC Cargo Security team during transportation from CACC terminal to the airside and loading process was completely supervised.

Following the successful inauguration of its new cargo terminal – Cairo Cargo City - on December 31st - 2016, CACC has been able to attract more leading global Carriers by providing quality services and tailor-made logistics solutions.
In this respect, we are glad to announce that all Saudia Cargo shipments are currently being handled at CACC terminal as of July 1st 2017 with the aim of continuing the fruitful cooperation between both parties which has begun by the handling of Saudia Cargo inbounds in August-2016.
Saudia Cargo currently operates an average number of 20 flights per day.

CACC is glad to announce that its radioactive warehouse – located at Cairo Cargo City CCC - has been granted the Nuclear & Radiological Regulatory Authority’s approvals and the license has been issued with effect as of 12th April 2017.

CACC and Emirates Sky Cargo have joined forces and jointly celebrated the first Emirates Sky Cargo flight handled at CACC Cargo terminals.
CACC has won a multi-year agreement with Emirates Sky Cargo to provide cargo handling services in Cairo. This agreement is regarded as a vote of confidence in CACC’s consistent quality service and dedicated team.
Emirates Sky Cargo operates 17 flights and one B777 or B747-400 freighter per week with plans to operate 21 flights per week in Q4 2017.
To support this growth, CACC has reinforced its facilities and increased its workforce, since maintaining its quality standards at the highest level is deemed the most crucial success factor in the local and international competition.
CACC is currently providing its premium services to major global carriers such as: Lufthansa Cargo AG, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways, British Airways, Austrian Airlines, Aegean Airlines, Oman Air, DHL Aviation, Alitalia as well as various charter companies.
