Cairo Airport Cargo Company - CACC is an Egyptian shareholding company founded in 1991. The development of air cargo industry has prompted CACC to set more focus on cargo handling activities and become a General Handling Agent providing premium services to prominent airlines such as Lufthansa Cargo AG, Qatar Airways Cargo, Etihad Cargo, Austrian Cargo, Aegean Airlines, Oman Air Cargo, British Airways World Cargo, Saudia Cargo, DHL Aviation, Emirates Sky Cargo, Alitalia Cargo, MNG Airlines, as well as various charter companies.
Located 500 meters away from the ramp side, CACC has started as the first off-airport terminal within Cairo International Airport with a dedicated apron gate exclusively serving the carriers handled by CACC.
As it has become a synonym for premium handling and warehousing services, CACC has reached the decision of undertaking a significant project of establishing a state-of-the-art cargo terminal on the airside that would be a definite added value to the air cargo industry in Egypt “Cairo Cargo City”, where handling processes have been defined and precisely laid down to guarantee smooth and speedy operational processes with maximum focus on security measures.
Extending over an area of 150,000 m2 and being directly located on Cairo International Airport’s airside, Cairo Cargo City has taken the logistics market in Egypt to a new era of advanced logistics operations.
In spite of the success achieved by inaugurating its new terminal - Cairo Cargo City - in 2016, CACC is still focused on achieving its ultimate goal of further enhancing the air cargo industry in Egypt. Accordingly, CACC has offered to lease its former terminal – with an area of 9,600 m2 – to forwarding agents, for the purpose of promoting consolidation & deconsolidation, as well enhancing Ready-For-Carriage concept.
